Processing Your Order

How long will it take to activate my web space after I have ordered?

 

Webspace / disc space:

Normally an order is processed in a matter of hours. It can however take up to 24 hours. 

 

Registering a Domain:

We hand the domain registration to the responsible registering office as soon as we receive it. Due to technical reasons it can take up to 48 hours before your domain is reachable.

Order Process

How do I Order?

 

After ordering at fairio, you will receive access data for the customer menu. After logging on to the customer menu, you can see your order in by clicking on "open orders". As soon as we receive your confirmation, we will carry out your order. You will receive access data via e-mail as soon as the account is set up.

 

As soon as your account has been set up you will receive access data via e-mail. From this point you can see your account in the customer menu under active orders.

Changing Providers

How do I change providers with an existing domain?

 

Example:

A customer orders a domain at fairio (with web hosting package if need be).
When ordered, our system will automatically acknowledge the fact that the domain already exists. It therefore has to be transferred.
The customer then receives a pdf file and information concerning the transfer per email. The customer then sends the form per fax or post to his present provider and a copy to fairio. We will start the transfer as soon as we receive the copy.

Package Upgrade

How can I upgrade to a bigger package (more web space, email addresses, traffic etc.)?

 

You can upgrade to a bigger package at any given time. Just order your upgrade in the customer menu. Our support team will process your order as soon as possible. All prepaid charges will be credited to your new package. We charge no extra costs for setting up the new package.

Additional Domains

Is it possible to use more than one domain in a package?

 

Is it possible to use several domains for one package, to make a web site accessible over several domains?

Yes. When ordering you have the possibility to order further domains in addition to your main domain.

 

You can order additional domains simply by email or via the customer log in. Please quote your customer number and domain name.

The new domain can now refer to your main domain or to an individual sub folder of your main domain.

Email addresses always apply to all domains in your package.

Unfortunately we only offer the fixed packages at present.
