 Email Port
Which other ports can I use for emails?
Some Providers have blocked the standard email port 25 and use port 587 instead.
You can individually change the port you wish to use for sending emails on your email program.

 Mock Email Senders
Somebody sends emails with my domain as the sender. What can I do?
There are 2 possible reasons:
1. A computer worm:
You may not even have a worm on your computer, but still emails are being sent with your address as the sender!
After reaching your computer, current worms actually search your computer for email addresses. They then send their selves per email to the addresses they find. They also randomly pick one of the addresses found as the sender.
Important:
The sender does not have your access data and is not sending emails over your mail server.
Example:
Someone you know has a worm on his computer. He has your email address in his address book. The worm then sends itself per email to your address using your own address as the sender. It can also send itself to other addresses, again using your email address as the sender.
Conclusion:
Unfortunately you can do nothing to stop this happening. Sender addresses are not checked, can not be checked, by the SMPT protocol.
2. Spam:
People sending spam mails often use false addresses to send mails. Spam mails are often sent automatically which means that they can contain your address as the sender. Most of the time spam is sent with a made up address in conjunction with a valid domain (example: hanadkjf(at)yourdomain.com).
Important:
The sender does not have your access data and is not sending emails over your mail server.
Example:
You own a domain (yourgoodname.com). You receive a message (Mail Delivery Notifications), that your email was not sent. The sender is rudi55678@yourgoodname.com for example. This address is normally made up.
Conclusion:
Unfortunately you can do nothing to stop this happening. Sender addresses are not checked, can not be checked, by the SMPT protocol.
Try deleting the catch all address as this will sometimes help (default forwarding). This will stop random addresses reaching your account.
Important:
If you want to check if the mails were sent over your fairio mail server, look in the "failure-notice E-Mails" source code under "Received" you can see an IP. If this IP does not match the ServerIP - of your web hosting account -The e-mails were not sent over your mail server.

IDN Domains (Umlaut domains) and Emails
How do I set up my email program for IDN domains(umlaut domains)?
Most mail programs do not support internationalised domain names at present.
Please use the in ServerCon noted addresses with "xn...". This should work for all addresses.

 Webmail
Where can I find my webmail account?
You can find your webmail account under:
www.<yourdomainhere>/webmail/

 Email Disc Space
How much disc space do I have for emails?
-You have unlimited disc space as long as you do not exceed your limit over a longer period of time.
This means:
WebSpace and E-Mail are added together, but you can receive 100MB worth of mails using a 10MB package. This insures that you always receive your mail, even if your disc space is full.
"longer period of time" means that you cannot keep the mails 1-2 months on your server if you have exceeded your disc space limit. Its not a problem if you are on holiday or have no short term possibility of accessing your computer.
